WordPress Editorial Calendar

Ever find a plugin which seems so essential that you feel it should be included as part of the core WordPress code?

That’s how I feel about the WordPress Editorial Calendar plugin from the folks at Stresslimit.

The Editorial Calendar plugin provides an intuitive visual calendar where you can visualize, rearrange, and schedule your posts with ease.

The calendar format provides drag and drop functionality so you can easily reschedule and organize your posts:

Why You’ll Love the WordPress Editorial Calendar:

  • Modify post dates by simple drag and drop within the calendar
  • Allows you to see your scheduled posts and understand at a glance how they relate to one another within an editorial context
  • Quickly edit titles, draft status and time with quick edit feature
  • Adds structure and organization that was previously only attained through a clunky editorial spreadsheet.

While the functionality of the editorial calendar plugin is obviously beneficial to anyone who posts frequently, the true benefit that I have found is that it creates order in what I used to feel was a chaotic and unorganized posting process.

Here is a video overview of the plugin from Zack Grossbart of Stresslimit.  If you aren’t already using this plugin, then do yourself a favor and take a couple minutes to watch the video below:

The folks at Stresslimit also set up a nifty Sandbox that you can check out if you want a hands on look at the plugin.
