WordPress is the standard for creating blogs and websites these days.  All the cool kids use it.

If you are new to WordPress then one of the first things you will find is that there are two versions to choose from: WordPress.org & WordPress.com.  At first this seems pretty confusing, but trust me, it isn’t.

In short, WordPress.org gives you complete control and unlimited customization, while WordPress.com provides less control, but is more user friendly.
